Lent — 15 min Poem — Day Thirteen

When I say strong words

Sometimes I want to hide away

Sheltered from your hearing

Safe from your reaction

My words are like ammo

Made from stone hitting stone

I speak in sparks and fire

Then I jump into a streams

I am always burning or soggy

In the wake of your love
